Websites for salons and stylists.

A salon site has one job, and it is not looking pretty. It is turning somebody who just moved to town, or who fell out with their last stylist, into a booked appointment. Everything else on the page is in service of that.

What actually books the chair

Five things that decide whether they book

/ 01

Booking should never be more than one tap away

Whatever you use, Square, Vagaro, GlossGenius, or a phone and a book, that action belongs in the header, in the hero and at the end of every scroll. If you are by appointment only, say so plainly and make the number tap to dial. The most common salon site mistake is hiding booking behind a Contact page.

/ 02

People follow a stylist, not a building

Clients pick a person. Give every stylist a photo, a name, what they specialise in and a way to book with them directly. It helps new clients choose with confidence, it lets your team share a link that is actually theirs, and it means a stylist joining or leaving does not quietly break the site.

/ 03

Publish the price list, even when it is a range

"How much is balayage here" is the question, every time. Colour work varies by length and history, so give a starting price and say what moves it. People are not scared of a range, they are scared of not knowing. A visible list also quietly filters for the clients who are comfortable with what you charge.

/ 04

A gallery of your work, not a stock photo of a shampoo bowl

Real results from real clients, shot in your light, in your chair. This is the closest thing to a portfolio you have and it is the thing a nervous new client studies hardest. We size and compress them so the page still opens fast, and connect it to your Instagram so posting once keeps the site current.

/ 05

Show up when someone new is looking

"Hair salon near me" pulls a map of three shops before anything else, and in a town with a lot of visitors and new arrivals that block is most of your new business. Google Business Profile set up properly, photos posted, reviews answered, hours right. We handle it with the site and keep it current.

Barbers and beauty too

Everything on this page applies to a barbershop, a nail studio, a lash tech or a spa. Same problem: somebody new is deciding between you and the place two streets over, on their phone, in about forty seconds.
